Somarriba Package: Ruger's PC Carbine + Full Optic Upgrade!

When it comes to a bugout-style carbine, the Ruger PC Carbine is by far the ideal choice especially with the affordable price tag it comes with. Essentially, it is a beefed 10-22 that fires 9mm and can literally breakdown in half and fit in your back pack. Not only that, for all the GLOCK fans out there, it also takes GLOCK magazines!

At Somarriba, Inc., we have taken the PC Carbine to a new level, upgrading the optics to include a Trijicon RMR mounted with low profile Recknagel quick detach mount!

Before jumping into more detail on the upgrades we have made, a little more on the PC Carbine itself. With an overall length of 35", the PC Carbine breaks down into a ~16" and ~18" pieces. Takedown is as simple as locking the bolt back and verifying that the rifle is unloaded, pushing a recessed lever, twisting the subassemblies and pulling them apart.

Moreover, it comes in weighing at 6.2 pounds making for a perfect backpack gun or companion on a long trek. Ruger has cut no corner with the quality of the PCC, outfitting it with a 16.12" cold-hammer forged, chrome moly barrel which provides exceptional accuracy and longevity. Now for the factory sights, the PCC features a protected-blade front sight that matches with a rear ghost-ring sight.

The PC Carbine also ships with interchangeable magazine wells for use of common Ruger and Glock magazines. It ships with the Ruger magazine well installed and an additional magazine well accepting Glock magazines is included separately.

Our upgrades to the Ruger PC Carbine goes above and beyond, with our skilled in-house gunsmiths equipping it with the renowned Trijicon RMR. This exceptional red dot sight boasts eight brightness settings, including two night vision-compatible options, providing optimal visibility in any lighting conditions. The RMR is known for its unmatched durability, ensuring peace of mind while out in the field. In fact, it's the go-to choice for the military due to its reliability and performance. Additionally, we mounted it on high-quality, German-made quick detach mounts which allow the user to easily detach the RMR in situations where the factory iron sights are preferred.

We didn't stop there. We decided to outfit the PC Carbine with the Glock magazine well ourselves, saving the user time and included two 17-round Glock magazines and one 33-round magazine.
