The Tikka T3x has always been a favorite at Somarriba for its high quality at great prices and we decided to pair it with another high quality favorite, the Swarovski Z3 in a 4-12x50 magnification. Our in-house master gunsmithes mount everything using German-made Recknagel parts with extreme care to precision. Now in order to truly be "Ready To Go" we go the extra mile to sight the rifle at a 100 yards.

After shooting hundreds of Tikka rifles at the range, we have a simple conclusion that Tikka is a consistently accurate and superbly reliable. Whether you are going for big game hunting, varmint hunting or simply punching holes at extreme distances the T3x performs flawlessly.
More on the design of the Tikka T3x itself, the stock features new recoil pad technology that reduces the impact of recoil on the shooter monumentally allowing you to fully concentrate on the accuracy of your shots. The synthetic stock now comes with a foam insert within the interior of the rear stock which aids in both noise reduction and vibration generated by the stock.
In regard to the factory camo "Veil Wideland", it serves a dual purpose of assisting the user in blending into southern forests and open plain environments as well as ensuring durability in harsh weather conditions through the Cerakote coating.
Moving onto the action, Tikka redesigned the receiver introducing a widened angular ejection port that makes it easier to feed one cartridge at a time. Tikka has taken care of an upgrade generally made by the consumer, a metallic bolt shroud which covers and shields the rear of the bolt body and the firing pin along with an oversized bolt knob to assist operation in extreme conditions.
Topping it all off, it does feature a cold hammer forged barrel for increased accuracy and consistent precision.
Now for the optic, the Z3 4-12X50 is a 1-inch rifle scope that proves it's worth in poor light conditions and over long-range distances due to its 50 mm objective lens diameter and 12x magnification. Even in such a slim 1-inch riflescope, the clarity and detail provided even without backup lighting is simple outstanding with 90% light transmission.
