The EDC X9S begins life as a billet of pre-hardened 7075-T6 aluminum. Wilson Combat then machines a receiver that contains it's ten round, flush fit magazine. The EDC X9S is also accompanied by an extnded 15 round magazine which provides the extra grip length many of us need. This receiver is sleek with all extra bulk eliminated and machined with in their renowned X-TAC tread pattern. This pattern makes for an incredibly tactile grip while remaining non-abrasive to the hands.
The stainless steel slides of these pistols feature the company’s Enhanced Reliability System (ERS) designed for 9mm 1911 pistols which according to Wilson Combat “is tailored to the varying power levels of 9mm ammunition and maintains impressive reliability in all conditions, even when heavily fouled and low on lubrication."
The slide also feature external extractors, X-TAC rear cocking serrations, Concealment Battlesight rear sights, as well as replaceable front sights with green or red fiber optic, tritium or gold bead options. In addition, the 3.25” stainless steel match-grade barrels feature flush-cut reverse crowns.
The accuracy is guaranteed to be 1.5” at 25 yards.
