The DT11's center-mass has been designed to be low and coaxial with the bottom barrel allowing for unmatched stability and reduced muzzle rise. Before revealing the DT11 out to the world, Beretta consulted and worked with several of the world's best professional clay shooters to design a shotgun that will be the best and stay the best. In the process they took the DT10 action and morphed it into an even-better DT11 receiver. Along with the overall 3mm increase in the width of the receiver, it greatly enhanced it's durability while also providing unimagined stability and balance no matter the shooter. The redesigned top lever also improves the grip, reduces stress and provides more comfort for both right- and left-handed shooters. Additionally, the shape of the safety selector has been redesigned for a better grip and smoother operation.
The DT11’s Steelium Pro barrels are constructed out of a proprietary steel engineered to provide for extreme durability and superior ballistic performance. The long, 480mm, forcing cone keeps shot patterns consistent and accurate while minimizing recoil and muzzle rise. Also, the newly designed barrel bridges are internally hollowed, while the side ribs are windowed to improve barrel balance and help dissipate heat.
