More on the SP5, it was developed by HK as a semiautomatic, civilian sporting pistol that matches the look and feel of the legendary MP5 submachine gun. Now while it is designed to be a civilian firearm, that does not mean they skipped out on materials or manufacturing. In fact, the SP5 is loaded with authentic features, like a Navy barrel with threaded tri-lug adaptor, paddle magazine release, and fluted chamber. As for the operating system of the SP5, it sports the roller-delayed blowback operating system, which is legendary for its accuracy, reliability, and smooth shooting dynamic.

As for the optic upgrade no corners were cut either. An Aimpoint Micro is placed upon a quick detach Recknagel mount which is attached onto a HK MFI picatinny base. Speaking first on the Aimpoint Micro itself, it is the clear companion for the SP5 as it is essentially the industry standard for all extremely durable, compact, and versatile red dot reflex optics. It matches the SP5's speed, durability and versatility in all aspects. Now for the mounting solution itself, with over twenty five years in gunsmithing and firearm retail experience, we have found Recknagel offers the highest quality mounting for the price. One of our in-house master gunsmiths mounted and bore-sighted these pieces together ensuring it is ready for the range out-of-the-box.
Topping it all off is the SB Tactical Folding Brace, which really seals the whole package beautifully as it provides the much needed stability. However, in situations where the brace poses more as a hindrance than an assist, the folding feature is there.
