Before jumping into the upgrades we have made, a little more on the EDC X9 itself. The stainless steel slides of these pistols feature the company’s Enhanced Reliability System (ERS) designed for 9mm 1911 pistols which according to Wilson Combat “is tailored to the varying power levels of 9mm ammunition and maintains impressive reliability in all conditions, even when heavily fouled and low on lubrication."
The slide also feature external extractors, X-TAC rear cocking serrations, Concealment Battlesight rear sights, as well as replaceable front sights with green or red fiber optic, tritium or gold bead options. In addition, the 3.25” stainless steel match-grade barrels feature flush-cut reverse crowns.
Moving onto our full optic upgrade, our in-house gunsmithes outfitted the EDC X9 Subcompact with the Trijicon RMR which features eight brightness settings, two of which are night vision-compatible. A key feature of the RMR is it's incredible durability which allows you to rest easy while in the field with it. Overall, it's one of the best red dots available and the choice of the military.
We didn't stop there, we replaced the factory sights with co-witness sights which really puts the final touch. All the work is done by our in-house gunsmithes with 20+ years of experience.
