There is also no eyepiece swappability. If you want the wide-angle option that was available on the ATS/STS platform, the AT Endura does not offer it. The fixed 21-65x eyepiece is the only configuration. What you gain in return is a sealed, one-piece optical system with no user-serviceable joints to compromise the internal environment. The 65x top end provides enough magnification for meaningful observation at extended distances, and the optical clarity keeps the image usable at higher powers where lesser scopes start breaking down.

Swarovski Optik did something smart with the AT Endura. They looked at how their entry-level spotting scopes were actually being used in the field, identified the common failure points, eliminated the complexity that caused them, and shaved weight in the process. The result is a 75mm scope that weighs under 3.3 pounds, seals against everything the mountains can throw at it, delivers HD optical performance that lives up to the Swarovski name, and arrives at a price point that brings Austrian glass within reach of a much broader audience. It is not the ATX. It does not need to be.
