Just recently, Christensen Arms has released three exciting new calibers with the MPR including: 6.5 PRC, 300 PRC, and 338 Lapua Magnum.
Each caliber offers a new range of capabilities with the MPR from the extremely long-range power of the 338 Lapua Magnum to the incredibly flat-shooting 6.5 PRC. And paired with the MPR, the results are simply phenomenal.
Developed as a sniping caliber, the 338 Lapua Magnum as the capability to be effectively used to 1,500 meters and beyond. Not only that, it's trajectory is so flat that some observers have called it laser-like.
A friendlier alternative in regard to recoil and muzzle blast, the 300 PRC is an intelligently crafted 21st century magnum cartridge specifically designed to take advantage of long, heavy bullets capable of delivering the highest levels of accuracy and aerodynamic performance.
An upgrade to the 6.5 Creedmoor, the 6.5 PRC offers a 250 fps velocity boost over the 6.5 Creedmoor. With 147-grain ELD Match and 143-grain ELD-X bullets, the 6.5 PRC can generate velocities of almost 3,000 fps. Best of all, the 6.5 PRC is compact enough that it can be chambered in short actions.
