Shotgun Review: Caesar Guerini's Special Edition Tempio - The Perfect Shotgun for the Upland Hun

At Somarriba, Inc., we were delighted to receive three special edition Tempio shotguns, each outfitted with beautiful engravings of quail and dove scenes on both sides of the receiver.

The Tempio's low-profile receiver is perfectly matched with a trim stock, a classic Prince-of-Wales grip and Schnabel fore-end, allowing for quick and rapid target acquisition. This comes especially in handy for those fast game birds in the upland territories.

Guerini's engineers did not stop there, each Guerini game gun is carefully engineered to balance near the hinge point, distributing the weight evenly between the hands, which is a huge advantage while out in the field.

Not only is the Tempio engineered to a near perfect design, but it features a beautiful deluxe grade of Turkish walnut enhanced with a hand rubbed oil finish. In the case of the Special Edition Tempio, the receiver sports exquisite, custom game scenes of dove and quail. The left side of the action is engraved with doves and on the right quails. They are both featured in flight and in their native background.
