Rifle Review: Wilson Combat's Tactical Hunter - The Ideal Large Bore AR

One of the fundamental goals of Wilson Combat was to create the ideal AR to be used primarily by hunters, thus, the Tactical Hunter was born.

Starting out as a lightweight billet aluminum receiver set, the Tactical Hunter is outfitted with the Wilson's button-rifled, match-grade barrels that are machined from the highest-quality stainless steel Wilson has to offer. Each barrel comes tuned out-of-the-box for both suppressed or non-suppressed shooting.

The barrels are then matched up to Wilson's proprietary low mass bolt-carrier group and each Tactical Hunter utilizes Wilson's adjustable gas block that enables owners to fine-tune their guns with their preferred ammunition load.

An adjustable buttstock gives you the ability to adapt the gun’s size to various size shooters or for storage use. In addition, each rifle is also equipped with the company's Tactical Trigger Unit, which is intended to provide ultimate control for precision shooting.
