Pistol Review: CZ's NEW TS 2 - The Ultimate In Competition Shooting
Building off the world-renowned Tactical Sport, CZ has once again launched yet another pistol to dominate the the IPSC Standard Division, the new TS 2. Originally known for it's incredibly crisp trigger and long sight radius, the Tactical Sport has now evolved, taking inspiration from the Shadow 2 and incorporating customer feedback and improved manufacturing techniques.

Following the Shadow 2's enormous success in both the competition world, the TS 2 mimicked it's slide profile allowing the TS 2 to reciprocate the weight as low as possible. The benefits are tremendous as it leads to smoother overall operation, far less muzzle flip and quicker follow up shots. Moreover, the TS 2's redesigned frame and improved ergonomics further reduces the muzzle flip to all time lows.
Front and rear cocking serrations makes for easy slide manipulation with or without gloves. In regard to the grip, the TS 2 is outfitted with distinctive blue aluminum grips and the perfect amount of aggressive checkering again allowing for complete control with or without gloves. Topping it off, you have a set of fixed target sight including a long fiber optic front that are specifically built to withstand the stress of competition shooting.
Another upgrade from the original Tactical Sport are the twenty round standard magazines and wide magwell for immediate magazine changes. Now with all these upgrades, we are happy to see the TS 2 is still compatible with a majority of existing accessories for the original Tactical Sport pistol.
All in all, competitors can have a superb competition handgun that performs at the level of pistols over twice it's price and already has a good selection of accessories and aftermarket of custom parts, right out of the box.
