Traditions

As the air changes a new hunting season is upon us; family and friends unite to celebrate the traditional opening of the season. It has been hard work, but it's all worthwhile now! Finally, Dad has scraped the red mud off his boots and the leather is conditioned. The old-warm-wool jacket is out of the closet. Mom's rifle has a new scope and a crisp 2.5 lb. trigger job. She has been practicing at the range. The rifle is sighted in and ready to go. Grandpa's double is cleaned and oiled. His 25 year old decoys will test the waters once more. The stock of the pump has been shortened to fit little Jr. This is his first season. Dad will go to the local shop to pick up a couple of extra boxes of ammo and say bye before heading out to camp. All ingredients are ready for that secret recipe mom got at the old hunting camp. The opening season is here. But most importantly it is the time we join as a family to share the everlasting spirit of hunting.

Our family thank you for letting us be a part of your hunting tradition.

Have a great hunt!
